  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon ghee
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • 2 cup grated carrots
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped dry fruits

To make barfi, first of all add ghee in a pan and cook the grated carrots on low flame. You have to cook carrots until it becomes soft and light golden. It will take you 10 minutes to cook it well. Add sugar and milk to it after the scheduled time. And cook while stirring continuously, keep stirring it till milk and sugar in carrots are completely mixed.

When the carrot softens and the mixture becomes slightly thick, then you can add mawa. After mixing it well, you have to cook while stirring for about 10 to 20 minutes. Cook this mixture until it starts leaving the pan. Now add cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits such as control, almonds etc.
