Canada’s path is difficult, will there be a ‘restriction’ on foreign students and workers? Opposition leader said- ‘Trudeau’s system will change’

Job Opportunities in Canada: Canada is known worldwide for its easy immigration policy. Getting permanent residency in Canada is also not very challenging. But in the last few years, the increased price of houses and the increase in inflation have broken the back of the people. Due to this, foreign students and workers have also become disillusioned with Canada. However, now Canada itself is preparing to impose restrictions on foreign students and workers. In fact, Canadian opposition leader Pierre Poilievre said that if his/her party wins the next election, it will solve the housing crisis (having less houses). he/she said that to deal with this crisis, there is a need to improve the immigration system of the country. Pierre Poilievre said, “This has nothing to do with immigration, it is just maths. The question is not whether you support immigration or not, but basic maths is being talked about here.”

Houses are not being built as fast as the population is growing: Poilievre

Pierre Poilievre said there is a disparity between the number of homes being built in Canada and the pace at which the population is growing. he/she said, “We are building about 240,000 homes a year, which is an increase of 1.4% in housing supply. But under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his/her NDP government, the population is growing by about 3%. It should not be surprising that we have fewer homes.”

he/she stressed that the government must balance population growth with the number of homes being built. “We cannot let the population grow faster than we can build homes. If that happens, we are going to see even worse conditions,” the Canadian opposition leader said.

Preparations underway for action on foreign students and workers!

Pierre Poilievre indicated that his/her government would withdraw the International Student Program, which has caused the situation to spiral out of control. he/she said, “We will return to the system that existed before Justice Trudeau. Highly talented young people who perform well can come here, study and if they follow the rules, they can stay.” If the International Student Program is withdrawn, it will also affect Indian students.

he/she said, “We have added 96,400 people to the workforce last month, but we have not been able to create jobs for them. During this period, 44,000 people have lost their jobs and more than 60,000 people have had to be put on unemployment allowance.” Pierre said, “If you follow the rules, pay taxes and learn one of our official languages, you can stay here. If you are breaking the law and cheating the system, you have to leave here.”
