‘Canada has been very bad for us, they have to start paying’: Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump reiterated his/her proposal to make Canada the 51st US state, while Ottawa accused of being “very cruel” for Washington in a trade case.

he/she questioned why the US should provide subsidy to Canada and offered that if it actually becomes an American state, it would achieve American military and low taxes.

“Canada has been very bad for us on business. But now Canada has to start paying. The Canada has been strict on the army as they have very low military costs. They feel that we are going to protect them from our army, which is unfair. Trump said at a press conference on Thursday (local time), “Canada is going to be in a very serious condition … we do not need their product and still survive … we do 95 percent.

Trump argued that Canadian trade policies resulted in significant financial loss to the US, cited by 200 billion annual deficit. They believe that if the Canada became the 51st state, it would be a more beneficial partnership for the US.

“Their taxes will be very low, their safety will increase a lot, there are amazing things for Canada. When they are not state, why will we pay a USD 200 billion in subsidy to Canada? You do this for a state, you do not do that you are not for any other country … So I think Canada is going to be a very serious contender to be our 51st state, ” They said

Trump also slammed the European Union, accusing companies including Tech and Airlines of being “very difficult”.

“European Union Union companies have been very strict. he/she sued Apple, sued Google, he/she sued Facebook, he/she filed a case against several other companies … so they have been very difficult. Airlines have called me and said that ‘can you help us with Europe, they are charging us so differently … Crutches on America for European Union Union Trade, ” Said further.

In particular, Trump has repeatedly attacked Canada accusing the US of imposing high tariffs. he/she has offered to make Canada the 51st state of the US, and has made fun of the outgoing cannadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as the “Governor of Canada”.

Earlier this month, Trump announced a 25 percent tariff on imports of Canada and Mexico and also additional 10 percent on goods from China.

However, he/she later stopped the tariff for 30 days, stating that he/she had acquired new commitments to improve border security from both countries.
