By naming ‘Butch Bachao Abhiyan’, Congress surrounded the government in SEBI Chief case.

New Delhi: Congress has been raising questions about the role of SEBI Chief Madhavi Buch since the beginning. Even though Congress and BJP are facing each other over the manner in which Buch did not attend the recent meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Parliament, after being called, on Saturday, Congress and the Leader of Opposition will discuss the issue of the role of SEBI Chief. They were seen cornering the government afresh on this issue.

Congress’s serial attacks

By releasing videos on social media one after the other, Congress expressed its intention that it is not going to give up this issue related to lakhs of investors of the country easily, it will continue to express its views on it. It is interesting that in this video the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi Was seen leading it properly. Rahul alleged that the Modi government sitting at the Center is trying to save the SEBI Chief.

Controversy in SEBI Chief Butch case

Congress’s argument was that if nothing is being done against Butch even after sufficient evidence, then this cannot be done without the knowledge of the PM and the Central Government. Congress released the video and indicated that it will continue to raise questions against Butch. Congress claimed that it will try to raise this issue in a completely transparent manner. In this she will try to find out the truth using investigative journalism.

Rahul gave the tag line of ‘Save Butch Campaign’

Whereas Rahul Gandhi expressed his/her intention through the tag line of ‘Save Butch Campaign’ and said that he/she will raise this issue everywhere from Parliament to the public domain. It is noteworthy that even after Butch did not attend the PAC meeting, Rahul Gandhi had asked who was protecting the SEBI Chief. The president of an important organization like PAC is Congress Organization Minister KC Venugopal.
