New Delhi: Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has got a new bungalow in Delhi. his/her new house will be in Lutyens Delhi itself. Priyanka Gandhi has visited Rahul Gandhi’s new bungalow after reaching Sunhari Bagh Road in Delhi. A video of the bungalow is viral on social media. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi’s house was 12, Tughlaq Lane, New Delhi. The Housing Committee of the Lok Sabha has proposed ‘5-Sunhari Bagh Road’ bungalow to the Leader of Opposition in the House Rahul Gandhi for his/her stay. Sources associated with the Housing Committee have given this information. Sources associated with Rahul Gandhi have also confirmed this. Sources said that if Rahul Gandhi agrees, this will be his/her new home. Congress General Secretary and Rahul Gandhi’s sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached ‘5 Sunhari Bagh’ on Friday. This is a ‘Type 8′ category bungalow which is usually allotted to cabinet ministers. Rahul Gandhi lived at ’12 Tughlaq Lane’ for many years, but he/she vacated this house last year when he/she lost his/her membership after being convicted by a lower court in Gujarat in a defamation case. Since then, he/she is living at ’10 Janpath’, the residence of his/her mother and Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi. The former Congress president has been elected from Rae Bareli this time and is performing the responsibility of the Leader of the Opposition.

Rahul Gandhi is living in the bungalow at 10 Janpath. In this year’s Lok Sabha elections, he/she contested from two Lok Sabha seats, Wayanad and Rae Bareli. he/she won both the seats. After winning, he/she left the Wayanad seat, from where Priyanka Gandhi is going to contest the elections.
