Bumrah’s reign ends, bowler who took 300 wickets gets second good news


New Delhi. Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has lost the number one position in the ICC Test rankings. South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has reached number one in the ICC rankings for Test bowlers. Rabada recently took 9 wickets in the first test match against Bangladesh. Apart from this, he/she took his/her wickets tally to 300 in Tests. Rabada, who played an important role in helping South Africa win the first test, has been rewarded for this.

Due to the brilliant bowling of Kagiso Rabada, South Africa defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the first test. On the basis of his/her excellent performance, Rabada has achieved the number 1 ranking for the first time since the beginning of 2019, leaving behind Bumrah, Australia’s Josh Hazlewood and India’s Ravichandran Ashwin. he/she reached the top for the first time in January 2018 and has remained in the top 10 continuously since then. he/she lost his/her position in February 2019 itself. Hazlewood is now in second place, while Bumrah and Ashwin have slipped to third and fourth place respectively.
