Nirmala Sitharaman said that the government’s focus will be on reforms in agricultural research. 9 varieties of high-yielding crops will be introduced. Along with this, work will be done on strengthening the rural economy. 109 varieties of 32 crops will be introduced to strengthen the agricultural sector. Apart from this, a digital survey of crops will be done in 400 districts of the country.
