New Delhi: Finally the wait is over and on Tuesday Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the country’s general budget for the financial year 2024-25. Nirmala Sitharaman, who reached Parliament wearing a cream colored saree, started her budget speech by thanking the people for the third term of the Modi government. The Finance Minister said that we want to assure the people of the country that the government will fulfill their aspirations without discriminating on the basis of gender, religion and caste. During this, Nirmala Sitharaman also opened her box for the women of the country and made big announcements. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Modi government is coming up with a big scheme for women. Women-centric skilling programs are being started. New schemes sponsored by the Central Government have been proposed in the budget. he/she said that 20 lakh young women will be skilled in 5 years through this scheme. Also, 1 lakh training institutes will be upgraded for this. In these institutes, women will be trained according to the industry. Apart from this, Nirmala Sitharaman announced that a scheme to build hostels for working women in the country will be implemented in partnership with the states.

During her budget speech, Nirmala Sitharaman said that the government is focusing on 9 priorities in this budget. The government’s main focus is on employment and skills. Apart from these, the government is also paying serious attention to infrastructure and next generation reform. We are fully prepared to ensure that these priorities are implemented effectively over time. The government’s goal is a developed India and we are constantly moving forward in this direction. Along with all this, the Modi government has a special focus on the agriculture sector.
