Budget 2024 News: BJP allies are doing well in the budget, special attention given to Bihar and Andhra Pradesh

New Delhi: Experts may have their own opinions on what the service class and the youth got in the budget, but it is clear that the budget has benefited the allies of BJP. In this Lok Sabha election, BJP did not get enough seats to form the government on its own. This time the government is an NDA government and Bihar’s party JDU and Andhra Pradesh’s party TDP are the biggest allies of BJP. Both the allies were demanding special status for their respective states. Special status was not given but Andhra Pradesh and Bihar have been given the maximum importance in the budget. So much importance that even the opposition parties have made sarcastic remarks about it.

Centre opened treasury for Andhra Pradesh

Chandrababu Naidu’s party TDP was a part of NDA earlier also. BJP and TDP fought the 2014 elections together. But TDP broke ties with BJP on the issue of giving special state status to Andhra Pradesh and was constantly cornering BJP on this issue. This time before the elections, TDP again joined NDA. But the issue of special state is still alive in Andhra Pradesh. Now TDP’s opposition party YSRCP is fanning the issue of special state status. The same situation is in Bihar as well. Nitish Kumar’s party JDU was also a part of NDA earlier, then BJP-JDU broke up and then both came together. The way JDU has constantly changed sides has been made fun of. In Bihar too, this issue is big that Bihar should be given special state status. In Bihar, RJD is constantly raising this issue and JDU is also forced to keep demanding special state status.

That’s why it did not get special state status

But BJP has its own compulsions. A BJP leader said in an informal conversation that the senior leadership of BJP does not believe in giving special state status to any state. This was the situation in 2019 and the thinking is the same even now. That is why Andhra Pradesh was not given special state status earlier. The BJP leader said – Why does anyone ask for special state status, so that there is development and money comes there. When the central government funds can be given there by giving special packages and through other means, then what is the need for special state status. This thinking of BJP was also seen in the budget presented in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. In the budget, many schemes of different grants have been announced for Andhra Pradesh and Bihar.
