Britain needs dog beautician, cemetery manager! UK work visa is also giving foreigners

UK skilled worker visa: Britain is one of the countries in the world that needs skill workers. But Britain needs people working as a dog beautician, DJ and cemetery manager, not such skill workers. These posts have been included in the list of skill workers of the British government and people can also apply for jobs.
According to the Guardian report, a researcher at Oxford University has found that professionals such as dog beauticians, DJs and Pilates Instructors can apply for British skilled workers visas. The British government has promised to bring a white paper to reduce the number of people coming to the country later this year. Meanwhile, a list of many strange ‘middle skills’ jobs has been released, for which foreign workers can still apply.

What kind of jobs are included in the middle skill worker list?

The analysis of the three -year data by the UK Home Office by March 2024 shows that 334 visas were given for ‘animal care service businesses’. These include Dog Grroom, Dog Walker, Stable Employees, Canal Assistant and Veterinary Nursing Assistant. In the meantime, 167 fitness instructors and lifestyle coaches were also given skill worker visas. Along with this, foreign workers were also given visas in skill visa category for posts like ‘Costume Interpreter’ in Musim.

The Middle Skill category also includes roles like the Air Travel Assistant, including airport employees responsible for cabin crew and goods check-in. In the year ending in March 2024, a total of 869 visas were given for these posts. Other businesses included in the list include cemetery manager, homeopath and cycling instructor. In this way, if someone has to work in Britain, then he/she can apply for these posts as a middle skill worker by visiting the official website of the government.

Who imposed these jobs?

Prime Minister Kir Starmer wants to improve the immigration policy, so that he/she can get an edge in elections. Robert McNell, a researcher at Oxford University’s Migration Center, has detected these disturbances. he/she said, “Many of these jobs can be challenging and special skills are needed, but when people think of important jobs for British companies to recruit from abroad, then these are not jobs that most First comes to mind. “
