Bravery Award to 93 soldiers of Armed Forces and CAPF, Draupadi Murmu approves, see list

New Delhi: On the eve of the 76th Republic Day, President Draupadi Murmu has awarded the Bravery Awards to 93 soldiers of the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces. Of these, 11 soldiers have been given this honor posthumously. These awards include two Kirti Chakras, which has a posthumous. 14 Shaurya Chakra (after three posthumous), one time for army medal (valor). 66 army medals, including seven posthumous. Two Navy Army Medals (Bravery) and eight Air Force Medals (Bravery) are included.

Defense ornamentation honor along with valor award

The President has also provided 305 Defense Adornment Awards to the Armed Forces and other personnel. These include 30 Param Vishisht Seva Medal. There are five best war service medals, 57 Ati special service medals, 10 war service medals. Once for the army medal (dedication to duty). There are 43 Army Medals (dedication to duty), eight naval army medals (Division to Duty), 15 Air Force Medals (Division to Duty), four times specialized service medals and 132 special service medals.

On the eve of Republic Day, the President honored the brave soldiers. 93 soldiers received Bravery Awards. Out of these, 11 soldiers were martyred. he/she received posthumously. Two soldiers received the Kirti Chakra, one has been given this honor posthumously. 14 soldiers received the Shaurya Chakra, three of them posthumously.

This honor symbolizes his/her indomitable courage, dedication and service for the country. Kirti Chakra and Shaurya Chakra are one of the supreme valor awards. These awards are given to the enemy for extraordinary bravery.
