BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024 Updates: An important information is coming out for the candidates who are dreaming of becoming an Assistant Professor in Bihar. Recently, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the recruitment process for 1339 posts of Assistant Professor in the Health Department. This recruitment drive was conducted for 23 different subjects in various medical colleges and universities of Bihar.

BPSC has given this information by issuing a notice on its official website bpsc.bih.nic.in. In this notice it has been told that “Departmental letter number 34/2024 to 56/2024 published on 20.06.2024 for appointment to a total of 1339 vacant posts of Assistant Professor under 23 departments (specialties) in the state’s medical colleges and hospitals under the Health Department, Bihar is postponed with immediate effect by letter number-649 (17), dated 22.07.2024 of the Health Department, Bihar.”

This recruitment of Bihar Medical Assistant Professor was done for a total of 1339 posts, for which applications were invited on the official website of BPSC from June 25. At the same time, the last date for filling the form and submitting the fee was 26 July 2024. But due to the postponement of this exam, the candidates who applied in it have got a shock. Candidates willing to participate in this recruitment process should have a master’s degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject from a recognized Indian university or an equivalent qualification from a recognized foreign university. Along with this, candidates were required to pass the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or a similar exam recognized by UGC like SLET/SET.
