Box Office: ‘Vicky Vidya’s earnings declined on the 12th day, ‘Jigra’ remained the same, ‘Vettaiyan’ is also in tight condition.

There is a distinct disappointment at the box office these days. On one hand, after Dussehra, people are busy in preparations for Diwali, on the other hand, empty chairs are being seen far and wide in theatres. While both the Bollywood films ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ and ‘Jigra’ are struggling hard to earn money, the condition of Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettaiyan’, which made a splash in the opening weekend, is also very tight. The condition of these three films on Tuesday can be gauged from the fact that their total earning is Rs 3.45 crore. Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’ has already flopped. Made with a budget of Rs 80 crore, this film has not been able to earn even Rs 30 crore in 12 days. Whereas Rajkummar Rao and Trupti Dimri’s ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ has benefited from low budget. Despite crawling at the box office, this film made for Rs 30 crores has done a business of more than Rs 35 crores. Whereas Rajinikanth-Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Vettaiyan’, made for Rs 300 crores, has reached only Rs 138 crores in 13 days.

‘Jigra’ box office collection day 12

‘Jigra’, directed by Vasan Bala, has flopped badly. The film was already suffering from low earnings. Whereas on Tuesday it did a business of Rs 60 lakh, just like on Monday. ‘Vettaiyan’ box office collection day 13

At present, the biggest blow to the stardom of superstar Rajinikanth has been suffered at the box office. The earnings of ‘Vettaiyan’, directed by TJ Gnanavel, are continuously falling. In 13 days, this film has earned only Rs 138.35 crore including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Its earnings have fallen to Rs 1.80 crore on Tuesday. Despite the huge budget of Rs 300 crore, this film does not seem to earn even Rs 200 crore in the country.
