Box Office: Rajinikanth trusts ‘Vettaiyan’, Naiya is wavering between hit and flop! ‘Devra’ helpless on 20th day

Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s action-drama ‘Vettaiyan’ has handled itself well on Wednesday. After strong earnings in the opening weekend, where there was a huge decline in earnings on Monday and Tuesday, they are in a slightly better condition on the 7th day. But its pace has now slowed down. On the other hand, Jr NTR’s ‘Devra: Part 1’ is also in its last phase at the box office as it is earning in crores. But it has flopped and is currently Rs 20.70 crore behind its budget. The budget of ‘Vettaiyan’, directed by TJ Gnanavel, is said to be Rs 300 crore. Whereas this film has made a total collection of Rs 118.80 crore in seven days. The film was released on Thursday, so it got a first week of 8 days. But sadly it has not been able to take advantage of this on weekdays.

‘Vettaiyan’ box office collection day 7

According to sacnilk report, ‘Vettaiyan’ has made a business of Rs 4.15 crore on Wednesday, including all four languages. A day earlier it had earned Rs 4.30 crore. Earnings have also fallen for the 7th day, but they have definitely stabilized a bit. This film is earning entirely on the basis of Rajinikanth’s fan following, because apart from Tamil, its condition is very bad in Hindi, Telugu or Kannada.

Box Office: ‘Jigra’ and ‘Vicky Vidya’s video’ could not earn even Rs 4 crore together on Wednesday, everything is rubbish

‘Vettaiyan’ Worldwide Collection Day 7

Even in terms of worldwide collection, the dominance of ‘Vettaiyan’ has now weakened a bit. In 7 days it has made a gross collection of Rs 208 crore at the global box office. In the year 2024, this film of Rajinikanth is definitely the second highest grossing film after Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT. But with the speed at which it is doing business, it also seems to be a flop.

‘Devra’ box office collection day 20

Present times are looking very bad for South cinema also. Back-to-back films of big superstars are getting flopped. Same is the condition of ‘Devra’ also. It has made a business of Rs 1.40 crore on the 20th day of its release. The total collection of the film in the country is Rs 279.30 crore. But it is still far behind its budget of Rs 300 crore.

‘Devra’ Worldwide Collection Day 20

‘Devra’, made under the direction of Koratala Siva, has also earned a worldwide gross of Rs 410 crore, which is quite low as per its budget. This film has failed on both the domestic and foreign fronts. Whereas after the super success of RRR, there were a lot of expectations from the return of Jr NTR on screen.
