Box Office: Junior NTR’s film on the way to flop! Earnings start trembling before the release of Vettaiyan

Junior NTR in double role, along with Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor and Prakash Raj. Before the release of ‘Devra: Part 1’, it seemed that this film would be a box office bomb. This also happened in the first three days. In the first weekend, the film earned more than Rs 160 crore at the domestic box office. But only after this it started collapsing like a pile of sand. The situation is that even after 12 days it has not been able to release its budget in the country. Whereas even before the release of Rajinikanth-Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Vettaiyan’ on Friday, it is now facing the fear of flop. The budget of ‘Devra’, made under the direction of Koratala Siva, is Rs 300 crore. The way this film, which was released on September 27, had started, it should have earned Rs 350-400 crore in the country by now. But it has taken 12 days to cross the Rs 250 crore mark. Now, while on one hand there will be an emphasis on new release films from South to Bollywood on Friday, on the other hand due to Dussehra, audience engagement will also increase.

‘Devra’ box office collection day 12

According to the report of sacnilk, on Tuesday, the 12th day of its release, ‘Devra’ has made a total net collection of Rs 4.50 crore in all 5 languages in the country. In this way the film has made a total collection of Rs 253.25 crore. The film has earned the highest so far from the Telugu version. But on Tuesday there too, 80 out of 100 seats were seen vacant in the theatres.

‘Devra’ Worldwide Collection Day 12

Even in the worldwide collection, ‘Devra’ has not made much headway. It has made a gross collection of only Rs 375 crore at the global box office in 12 days.

This is why ‘Devra: Part 1’ may flop

The concern of ‘Devra’ now is that only if this film earns Rs 310-320 crore in the lifetime in the country, only then will it be called a hit. But as things stand, this does not seem to be happening. On one hand, ‘Vettaiyan’ is releasing on Friday, while in Bollywood too, along with Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’, Rajkumar Rao and Trupti Dimri’s ‘Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ is also coming. In such a situation, ‘Devra’ will suffer a huge loss of screens, which will have a direct impact on its earnings.
