Khawaja played in T20 WC 2016, scored 21 runs against Pakistan

Australia’s left-handed opener Usman Khawaja was born in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. Later his/her parents shifted to Australia in the hope of better job opportunities. In 2011, Usman became the first Muslim player to play for Australia. 37-year-old Khawaja is not a part of the Australian team participating in the T20 World Cup 2024, but he/she was a member of the Australian team in the 2016 T20 World Cup held in India. In 4 matches of the tournament, Khawaja scored 143 runs at an average of 35.75, in which the highest score was 58 runs which he/she made against Bangladesh.

During this period, this Australian cricketer of Pakistani origin played matches against Bangladesh, India, New Zealand and Pakistan. In the match against Pakistan in Mohali on 25 March (Australia vs Pakistan), he/she scored 21 runs with the help of three fours and a six. Owais also led the England team (U-19) that toured South Africa at the junior level. he/she made his/her senior debut for England against Australia in June 2001. Owais played six Tests, 71 ODIs and 17 T20Is for England between 2001 and 2009, although he/she has no major achievements to his/her name except a century in ODIs. Owais was part of the England team in the 2007 and 2009 T20 World Cups and scored 209 runs in 10 matches at an average of 20.90, with 38 being his/her highest score.

In the T20 World Cup 2007, Shah scored 103 runs (highest 36) in 5 matches at an average of 20.60, while in the 2009 World Cup he/she scored 106 runs in 5 matches at an average of 21.20. During the T20 World Cup 2009, he/she played a match against his/her birth country Pakistan (England Vs Pakistan) on 7 June and scored 33 runs in 32 balls. England won this match at the Oval by 48 runs thanks to the ‘triple’ performance of Man of the Match Luke Wright (34 runs in 16 balls, one wicket and two catches).

Pakistani-origin Sikandar Raza is included in the Zimbabwe team participating in the T20 World Cup 2024. 38-year-old Sikandar is a key player of Zimbabwe and has been the pillar of many important victories of the team. Right-handed batsman and offbreak bowler Sikandar Raza was born on 24 April 1986 in Sialkot, Pakistan. In childhood, Sikandar’s dream was to become a fighter plane pilot instead of cricket. he/she passed the exam for this and also took admission in Air Force College, but failed in the ‘I test’ in the third year and his/her dream was shattered. Later Sikandar shifted to Zimbabwe where his/her parents were living since 2002. After his/her dream of becoming a fighter pilot was shattered, he/she worked hard and became a top class cricketer. Sikandar Raza, a member of Zimbabwe’s team in all three formats, played 17 Tests, 142 ODIs and 86 T20Is and was successful with both bat and ball. he/she has 1187 runs and 34 wickets with the help of one century in Tests, 4154 runs and 88 wickets with the help of seven centuries in ODIs and 1947 runs and 60 wickets with the help of 14 half-centuries in T20Is.

Sikandar has played the T20 World Cups of 2014, 2016 and 2022 and has taken 13 wickets in addition to scoring 278 runs in 14 matches. he/she took two wickets in addition to scoring 32 runs in 3 matches of T20 World Cup 2014, one wicket in addition to scoring 27 runs in 3 matches of T20 World Cup 2016 and 10 wickets in addition to scoring 219 runs in eight matches of T20 World Cup 2022. In the history of T20 World Cup, Zimbabwe team reached the second round only in 2022 in which Sikandar had a significant contribution. Not only this, he/she was the Man of the Match by performing brilliantly in the moments of pressure in the match against his/her native country Pakistan (Zimbabwe Vs Pakistan). On 27 October 2022, Zimbabwe scored 130 runs for 8 wickets in the Perth match.
