A similar scene is being seen in the blind cricket tournament being held at Kailash Prakash Stadium in Meerut. In this tournament organized by Uttar Pradesh Disabled Sports Association, blind players from different districts of Uttar Pradesh are impressing everyone with their amazing game. These players are winning everyone’s hearts with their performance, and their hard work and passion have become a source of inspiration for everyone.

State Energy Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, Dr. Somendr Tomar met the players and praised them. he/she said that just as para players are making the country proud across the world, in the same way these youth playing on the Kranti Dhar of Meerut will also hoist their flag in national and international competitions in the coming times.

The minister appreciated the dedication and discipline of the players and expressed hope that these youth will bring glory to the country in the future. It is clear from his/her hard work and dedication that he/she is ready to show his/her talent even in big competitions.

Great performance by teams from many districts in blind cricket
Tournament patron Amit Nagar said that this is the first time that this type of blind cricket tournament is being organized in Uttar Pradesh. Teams from Meerut, Shamli, Banda, Mathura, Lucknow, Kanpur, Fatehpur, and Aligarh are participating in this. In this tournament, which will run till October 24, players are laying the foundation of their future with their sports skills and performance.

Disabled cricketer became an example
Most of the players playing in this cricket tournament are 80 percent blind, but their passion for the game is inspiring for everyone. Be it batting or bowling, these players are showcasing their talent in every role. The openers increased the excitement of the match by scoring 50 runs, while the bowlers also bowled the batsmen with their brilliant bowling and showed that their talent is no less than anyone.

Players moving towards national and international level
Through the tournament, these disabled players are getting a chance to hone their skills. Amit Nagar said that the players participating in this tournament can make their mark at the national and international level. Such events boost the confidence of these players and provide them an opportunity to showcase their abilities on big platforms.
