New Delhi: MPs from the opposition alliance Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) demonstrated on the Adani issue. On Friday, he/she took out a march in the Parliament complex wearing a black mask and carrying a copy of the Constitution in his/her hands. In this march, MPs from Congress, RJD, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and some other parties raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanded accountability.

Like the last few days, Trinamool Congress and Samajwadi Party did not take part in the protest even today. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra alleged that the government is afraid of discussing the Adani issue. They do not have the courage to discuss this issue in Parliament. Why is there a problem in having a discussion… Discussion happens only in democracy, they are afraid of it.

Congress raised questions on the central government

Here constitutional rights have been violated for Adani. We are holding a symbolic protest. When Adani’s name comes up, the Indian government tries to divert the issue. Adani Group chief Gautam Adani and other company officials were indicted by US prosecutors on bribery and fraud charges.

Controversy increases over Adani case

After this, Congress and some other opposition parties are demanding that the entire matter be investigated by the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi had recently demanded the immediate arrest of industrialist Gautam Adani in this matter. Adani Group has termed all the allegations as baseless.
