Moitra was expelled last year

Moitra was expelled as a Lok Sabha MP in December last year. The report of the Ethics Committee on investigation related to asking questions for taking money was discussed in the Lok Sabha. In October last year, it was Dubey who had accused Moitra of taking bribe to ask questions in Parliament and demanded a probe. After this the fight continued and the matter reached Delhi High Court. The High Court had rejected Moitra’s petition.
