This time too BJP and PM Narendra Modi have put in their best efforts. This may increase the vote percentage, but there may be doubts on whether BJP will get seats.

Congress, AAP and Goa Forward Party have claimed that Pallavi Dempo has been given the candidature because she is the wife of the state’s famous industrialist Srinivas Dempo. In such a situation, it will be very challenging for the BJP to win both the seats.

In the Lok Sabha elections, BJP has fielded its candidate for the only Lok Sabha seat in Mizoram. BJP’s current state president Vanlalhmuaka is contesting for this seat. There is only one Lok Sabha seat in the state, which is reserved for Scheduled Tribes. Mizo National Front won this seat in 2019. At the same time, Congress won this seat in 2014. In such a situation, winning this seat can also be a challenge for BJP.

BJP did not field any candidate in Nagaland, the scales are weak

Nagaland, a major state in the Northeast, has one Lok Sabha seat. In 2019, NDPP’s Tokheho Yepthomi won here. BJP has not fielded any candidate here.

Only one candidate in Manipur

There are 2 Lok Sabha seats in Manipur. BJP has fielded only one candidate here, who is from Inner Manipur seat. At the same time, NPF has made former IRS Timothy Jimmik its candidate. Jimmik is a resident of Ukhrul district. BJP has decided to support him/her. In the Lok Sabha elections 2019, BJP candidate Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh won only one seat. In the previous Lok Sabha elections, Congress was dominant here. In such a situation, BJP may face tough competition this time too.

Chances of victory are also less in Lakshadweep and Puducherry

BJP has also decided to support the Ajit Pawar faction’s candidate in Lakshadweep. BJP has made the current state Home Minister A Namassivayam its candidate in Puducherry, which has one Lok Sabha seat. Here too the main fight is between BJP and Congress. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP or NDA did not win from here. This seat was won by the UPA alliance.

How much difference will the loss in these states make to BJP
