BJP leader’s strong rebuke on opposition to Kanwar Yatra name plate decision, said this

New Delhi: Politics continues over the Uttar Pradesh government’s order to install nameplates on the shops, dhabas and restaurant operators on the Kanwar Yatra route. Leaders of opposition parties are targeting the UP government and demanding the withdrawal of this decision. Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Asad Madni also asked the government to withdraw the decision of nameplates on shops. Meanwhile, BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya has targeted opposition leaders opposing this decision of the UP government. he/she has also shared screenshots of posts of AAP leader Sanjay Singh and independent MP from Purnia Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav on social media platform X.

Amit Malviya wrote on X on Saturday that Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Asad Madni and the so-called secular leaders of the Indy Alliance are calling the 2006 Food Business Act in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand anti-Dalit and anti-Muslim. Whereas it is well known that there is no similarity between Dalits and Muslims. People of the Dalit community are followers of Sanatan Dharma and believe in Hindu ideology. Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s thinking towards Islam is well known. he/she had described Islam as a synonym of a distorted system. It contains a sense of neglect towards women and people of other religions. Baba Saheb Ambedkar had warned the Dalit community about Islam through his/her writings.

he/she further wrote, this law was implemented in 2006, at that time Mulayam Singh was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Sonia Gandhi was the chairperson of NAC and Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister. If this law promotes discrimination, then its promoters are the leaders of Congress and SP. Kanwar Yatra is a symbol of faith and devotion of Shiva devotees towards their deity. A large number of people carrying Kanwar are from the Dalit community. In such a situation, it is completely unfair to say that this law is discriminatory towards Dalits and any other religion.

Let us tell you that the law of putting name plates on shops was implemented in the then Mulayam Singh Yadav government of UP and the UPA government had passed this bill. These rules were made in 2006 itself, in which it was said that all shopkeepers, Dhaba owners should write their address and license number along with their name.
