In Jharkhand assembly elections, BJP raised the issue of Muslim infiltrators and tribal identity. BJP left no stone unturned in teaching the lesson of ‘If you divide, you will be cut’ to woo the voters. Now the exit polls show that the issues raised by BJP have appealed to the voters and they have voted with the aim of ousting the coalition government led by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress.

waiting for actual results

In the last assembly elections of 2019, JMM had single-handedly won 30 seats. he/she formed the government with the support of 47 MLAs with the support of Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Hemant Soren became the head of the government. On the other hand, BJP, limited to 25 seats, was forced to lose its government. This time, BJP led NDA has tried its best to return to power while JMM-Congress led Indian alliance has tried its best to save power. When the real results come on November 23, we will know which camp’s hard work has been successful.
