The third phase of the vaccination campaign started in the country on the occasion of International Yoga Day on Monday. More than seven lakh people were vaccinated in Bihar on this day. This is the highest number of vaccines administered in a day so far in the state. On June 21, Bihar became the top five states in India to set a record in terms of vaccination, where the highest dose of Kovid-19 vaccine was given.
The data shared by the state health department on Tuesday said- “A total of 7,29,332 beneficiaries were vaccinated on Monday, out of which 7 lakh 02 thousand 501 were those who got the first dose of vaccine. And 26 Thousand 832 people got second dose of corona on this day.The maximum number of these beneficiaries were in the age group of 18 to 44 years.
So far 22.33 lakh people have received second dose in Bihar
In Bihar, 1.23 crore people have received the first dose and 22.33 lakh people have received the second dose. Meanwhile, 268 new Covid-19 cases were reported in the state on Tuesday. During the same period, 468 patients have recovered from the disease, taking the number of active cases to 2,810. Six people have also been reported dead.
