Work Pressure Depression: Work-related stress adversely affects the mental health of employees and reduces their ability to work. In a report, people said that due to this stress, a state of restlessness and depression arises.
What does the report say?
In this report by human resource solutions provider Genius Consultants, 77 percent of participants said that work-related stress can lead to anxiety and depression. While 14 per cent did not express their opinion on it, while nine per cent denied it. This report is based on the results of a survey conducted between September 5 and October 15, 2022.
82 percent people told work pressure as a big reason
The survey covered 1,380 employees across sectors such as banking and finance, construction and engineering, education, FMCG, hotel management, HR department, IT, ITeS and BPO, logistics and manufacturing. 82 per cent of its respondents admitted that reduced immunity and digestive problems are directly related to work-related stress.

To cope with the stress of work, 73 percent of the people said that they should get a chance to take a light nap during work. The suggestions received from the employees also included the matter of reducing the working days. 68 percent of the people said this thing while 14 percent of the people did not consider it appropriate. RP Yadav, Chairman and Managing Director, Genius Consultants said that most of the participants recognized that work-related stress affects mental health.
