Big relief to Allu Arjun from HC, stay on proceedings in code of conduct violation case, decision reserved


Andhra Pradesh High Court has got relief to actor Allu Arjun. The court has stayed its proceedings in connection with the alleged violation of the code of conduct by Allu Arjun during the general elections. The verdict came on October 25 (Friday) and the court said it would pronounce the order on November 6. A report in Times Now claimed that Allu Arjun’s lawyer Y Nagi Reddy said that the actor’s visit to Nandyal during the general elections was his/her personal matter. he/she argued that it had nothing to do with political events. Furthermore, according to reports Allu Arjun should not be held responsible for the crowd that gathered outside Silpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy’s house.

Allu Arjun gets relief from court

Furthermore, the lawyer also argued that when Allu Arjun’s visit was not related to any political agenda, there should be no question about violation of the model code of conduct. Following the arguments, the Andhra Pradesh High Court posted the case for declaration of verdict on November 6, with no immediate legal action being taken till then.

What was the matter with Allu Arjun?

Recently, Allu Arjun moved the High Court and filed a petition to quash the case against him/her for violation of Section 144 and Police Act 30. The complaint was lodged by the Deputy Tehsildar of Nandyal. In his/her complaint, he/she said that the ‘Pushpa’ actor had visited Nandyal without the permission of the returning officer. It was also alleged that calling and gathering people without permission is a violation.

‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ release date

Talking about the work front, Allu Arjun is preparing for the release of his/her film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. Apart from them, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna will also be seen in this film directed by Sukumar. ‘Pushpa 2’ was earlier scheduled to release on 6th December, now it has been changed to 5th December.
