Big players gather in Delhi, from Rishabh Pant to Navdeep Saini.. know who will play for which league

New Delhi. T20 league DPL is going to be held in Delhi soon on the lines of IPL. Stars like Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, Navdeep Saini, Nitish Rana will be seen in this Delhi Premier League. DPL is being organized by Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). Six teams will participate in it. Medium pacer Navdeep Saini will be seen bowling for West Delhi Lions in Delhi Premier League.

The Delhi Premier League will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi from 17 August to 8 September 2024. West Delhi Lions has formed its team. This team also includes Navdeep West, who has played 11 T20 matches for India. Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma will be seen playing from Delhi’s Old Delhi 6 team.

40 matches will be played in the first season of Delhi Premier League. There will also be women’s matches in the first season of DPL. 33 matches will be played in the men’s category and 7 in the women’s category in the league. Virender Sehwag has been declared the brand ambassador of DPL.

Bowler Hrithik Shaukeen, who has been a part of the Indian Under-19 team, has also been included in the team. West Delhi Lions, a team of Excel Group Private Limited, is one of the six franchise teams. West Delhi Lions franchise owner Rajan Chopra said, “We are thrilled to be a part of the Delhi Premier League. DPL is a good platform to showcase Delhi’s talent.”
