The National Examination Agency (NTA), which conducts the exam, has withdrawn the NEET UG 2024 grace marks. Along with this, the NEET scorecard of 1563 students has been canceled. These are the students who were given NEET Grace Marks. Now the NEET result of these children has been canceled.

Along with this, NTA has told the Supreme Court that NEET exam will be conducted again for these 1563 students. National Testing Agency has said that the result of this Re NEET Exam will also be released before June 30. NEET Re Exam Date 2024 has been kept as June 23.

NEET Update: The entire merit list will change

After the cancellation of NEET results of 1563 children and NEET re-examination for them, the final score will affect the entire NEET merit list. As soon as the marks of these children change, their NEET All India Rank will also change. With this, the entire NEET 2024 Merit List will also change. The ranks of lakhs of children will be affected. In such a situation, NTA will need to release NEET Rank List 2024 again.

NTA has said that if the students who have been given grace marks do not appear in NEET 2024 Re-Exam, then their marks without grace marks will be applicable. That is, if someone has got 715 marks with grace marks, but without grace marks his/her marks are 640, then the rank will be given on 640 marks only.

There is no ban on NEET Counseling 2024

Despite all these updates, the Supreme Court has not put a stay on NEET counseling 2024. However, to ensure that there is no hindrance in NEET UG counseling, the NEET exam is being conducted again as soon as possible and the result date has also been fixed within a week.

NEET Scam: Strict action will be taken against the culprits

During the hearing on NEET in the Supreme Court on Thursday, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that ‘the matter will be investigated and if anyone is found guilty, strict action will be taken against him/her. A committee has been formed to investigate NEET. Complete transparency will be maintained.’ However, the Education Minister has denied the NEET paper leak.
