‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ movie review

Anees Bazmee has been in the industry for more than three decades as a director. They have also adopted new trends with the changing times. his/her ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is in today’s prevalent horror-comic space instead of a psychological thriller. Although its first half is weak, it takes time to establish the story and the comic punches are also less, but after the interval the story completely comes to its peak. After the interval, not only the comics but also the horror scenes make you laugh and scare. The pre-climax takes the matter to heart and the twist of the climax is enough to shock the audience. The ending of the film is also a bit emotional.

Talking about the technical aspect, the film is strong in that respect. Strong use of VFX has been made in scary scenes. The set designing also looks good. The musical aspect seems weak. Songs seem to pop up suddenly. However, Madhuri and Vidya’s dance in the song ‘Aami Je Tomar’ has become a sight to behold. The end title track of the film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ is being liked on the music charts.

Talking about acting, Kartik Aryan once again entertains a lot as Rooh Baba. his/her hard work for the role is clearly visible on the screen. Manjulika’s comeback as Vidya Balan has proved to be powerful. She leaves a mark in her character. Madhuri’s presence in guest appearance is beneficial for the story. Madhuri is presented with her charm in the gray shade role.

Instead of acting, Trupti Dimri’s glamorous aspect has been highlighted more. But the trio of Rajpal Yadav in the role of younger Pandit, Ashwini Kalsekar in the role of Panditine and Sanjay Mishra in the role of elder Pandit once again increases the dose of comedy. Vijay Raaz also makes us have fun with his/her character. Other characters are also fine.

Why watch- If you are fond of funny horror-comedy and family films, then you can watch this film.
