Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Rajasthan in the first week of December. According to estimates, the yatra will first enter the state from Jhalawar district on December 3. The ongoing confusion regarding the route of the yatra will end on Friday. It is now clear that there will be no change in the route of Bharat Jodo Yatra. The yatra will pass through the same route as decided by the Central Committee, but some changes can be made in it if needed.

In fact, Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara made it clear on Friday that there will be no change in the route of Bharat Jodo Yatra. If absolutely necessary, some changes may be possible, but there is no major change. He informed that Bharat Jodo Yatra will pass through seven districts of the state. Rahul Gandhi will enter the state from Jhalawar’s Jhalrapatan assembly constituency with a yatra in the first week of December. After this, the yatra will exit the state via Kota, Bundi, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa and Malakheda in Alwar. He also said that on November 25, he himself would go on this route and would also take stock of the preparations being made for the yatra.

Yatra will pass through these 8 assembly seats of seven districts

Bharat Jodo Yatra will cover 18 assembly seats in seven districts of the state. This includes Jhalrapatan of Jhalawar, Ramganj Mandi of Kota, Ladpura, Kota North and South assembly seats. After this, the yatra will enter Tonk district via Keshavraipatan assembly seat of Bundi district. During this, the yatra will pass through Deoli and Uniara assembly constituencies.

Similarly, Bharat Jodo Yatra will reach Bamanwas and Lalsot from Sawai Madhopur assembly constituency and enter Dausa. It will reach Alwar via Dausa, Lalsot, Sikrai and Bandikui assembly constituencies of the district. Alwar Rural, Alwar Ramgarh, Rajgarh and Laxmangarh assembly of the district will exit the state, ie will enter the state of Haryana.

What are the preparations for the Bharat Jodo Yatra?

  • The Rajasthan Congress is making special preparations for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara said that live telecast of Bharat Jodo Yatra will be done in all the districts of the state. LED screens will be installed at the headquarters of every district. Where seating arrangements will also be made for a large number of people.
  • 500 state travelers have also been selected to participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Who will walk with Rahul Gandhi in the journey of about 500 kilometers. Apart from this, doctors, engineers, lawyers, laborers and people from all other sections of the society will also participate in the yatra.
  • According to estimates, Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Rajasthan on December 3. About 17 days Yatra can stay in the state. It is believed that by December 20, Bharat Jodo Yatra will come out of the state.
  • There will be many small and big meetings of Rahul Gandhi during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Rahul Gandhi can hold big meetings in Kota, Dausa and Alwar districts. Apart from this, many small meetings of Rahul Gandhi can also be held in the other districts through which the Bharat Jodo Yatra will pass.

Gehlot and Pilot’s enmity is old
The feud between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot has been going on since the 2016 assembly elections in Rajasthan Congress. It increased with the passage of time. In 2020, after Sachin Pilot’s opposition, the Rajasthan Congress split into two factions. One Gehlot and the other pilot group. Here, on September 25, amid the possibility of Sachin Pilot becoming the CM, the Gehlot faction revolted in front of the supervisors. Since then, the tension between the two groups has increased. Its effect was also seen on the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Why factionalism regarding Bharat Jodo Yatra?
The route through which Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is passing, in most of the assembly seats, the number of Gurjar and Meena community is more. In such a situation, both these societies play a decisive role in these seats. On the other hand, if we talk about Congress leaders, Sachin Pilot dominates in the five districts coming in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Pilot’s hold is very strong in Alwar, Bundi, Sawaimadhopur, Tonk and Dausa districts. In such a situation, the leaders of the Gehlot group did not want Rahul Gandhi’s yatra to pass through these districts. That’s why efforts were being made to bring changes in it, but it could not happen.
