There will be a Bharat Bandh on 21 August 2024. Responding to the Supreme Court’s decision on SC/ST Reservation, the Reservation Bachao Sangharsh Samiti has announced a Bharat Bandh tomorrow. Police have been deployed in every district of the states to avoid any kind of tension.
Actually, the Supreme Court has asked the states to create sub-categories within the SC ST group. According to the court, those who really need it should get priority in reservation. This decision of the court has sparked a debate. Many social and political organizations have opposed it. If you are working and are leaving home tomorrow morning, then first know what will be open and what will be closed tomorrow.

According to the report, all markets will remain closed. However, the market organization has not confirmed this yet. It is believed that the shutdown may affect public transport and private offices. But emergency services including ambulances will remain operational.

Despite the Bharat Bandh, government offices, banks, schools, colleges and petrol pumps will remain open. Apart from this, medical, public transport, train and electricity services will also remain open.
