Marion, a remote island in South Africa, is about 2,000 kilometers south-east of Cape Town. After which South Africa has started a ‘bird conservation’ effort, which is the ‘Mouse-Free Marion’ project. How will the rats attack

South Africa has made a plan to eliminate the rats, while also ensuring that the environment of the island is not harmed. This entire work will be done under the supervision of experts. According to media reports, for this project, 600 tonnes of pellets containing rat poison chemicals will be spread on the entire island with the help of helicopters and then preparations will be made to blow them up with bombs.

Funds are being collected for these projects

The South African government is collecting funds for the ‘Mouse-Free Marion Project’. Let us tell you, so far the amount of funds required for this project has not been received. 29 million dollars are needed for this project, but about a quarter of the amount i.e. 2 billion, 43 crore 37 lakh 64 thousand has been collected.
