he/she said, ‘When Karan Arjun’s director Rakesh Roshan first told me about this role, he/she emphasized that what a joke is not just a line but the core of Sooraj’s character. he/she wanted it to be Suraj’s reaction to everything, which would bring a charm to the character. From day one, I incorporated what’s a joke into every scene. I experimented with different tones as the director of the film thought.

The actor further said, ‘he/she was not the first choice for this role. Gulshan Grover was initially cast as Suraj Singh. he/she repeated this scene many times and also spoke the character’s lines.
