How to start a speech on Teacher’s Day?
There is no knowledge without a Guru, there is no respect without a Guru,
Guru is the one who makes us great, without him/her we have no respect.
Respected Principal, respected teachers and my dear friends,
The lines I just read are not just something to say, but something to be implemented in life. I could not think of a better line to start my speech on this day. We all know that today, on 5 September 2024, Teachers’ Day is being celebrated in India. This day is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of the country’s great teacher and former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
Dr. Radhakrishnan was not only an excellent teacher but also a great scholar, philosopher and President of India. he/she always understood the importance of education and considered the role of teachers paramount in society.
Importance of Teachers Day
Teachers Day reminds us of the importance of teachers in our lives. Teachers not only teach us, but also teach us to follow the right path of life. They teach us the difference between right and wrong. They guide us towards becoming a responsible citizen. Today, as we celebrate Teachers’ Day, it is our responsibility to express our gratitude towards our teachers. This day gives us an opportunity to pay our respects to our teachers and appreciate their contribution.
I would like to thank all my teachers from the bottom of my heart, who have spread the light of knowledge in my life. They have helped me become a good person. Without them I would not be where I am today.
