Best 15 August Speech 2024: The most powerful speech on Independence Day, only your praise will resonate

Respected guests, teachers, and my dear friends,
Today is a day of pride for every Indian. 15th August… Independence Day… Call it by any name. But if you don’t remember the brave soldiers of India while calling those names, then think again. Because the freedom we are celebrating today is because of them.

The blood of the martyrs of the country has brought color
The name of freedom is flying high in the world
Through these lines of Firaq Gorakhpuri, we pay homage to all those freedom fighters who fought to liberate the country without caring for their lives.

Our Hindustan is the best in the world,
We are its bubbles, this garden is ours

These lines remind us how great and diverse our country is. The culture, language and traditions of our country give us a unique identity. And how long we have struggled for this identity.

Many fighters sacrificed their lives to bring us freedom. Their courage and sacrifice cannot be described in words. While paying tribute to their bravery, we should also remember that freedom is not just our right. Freedom does not only mean freedom from foreign rule. Freedom comes with responsibilities. Every 15th August reminds us again that we have to keep striving continuously to maintain our self-reliance, equality and freedom.

While celebrating independence, we should not forget that there is still a lot to be done for the progress of the country. It remains to be ensured that every citizen of India feels free, empowered and safe on Independence Day. No one should be hungry. Every person should be educated. Everyone should have a roof over their head. Every body should be healthy.

Come, let us accept the challenges that come before us as a nation. From inequality and injustice to corruption and division, let us unite and fight against all those things that threaten our freedom. The freedom for which even today lakhs of soldiers are risking their lives while deployed at the borders.
This announcement was made at this very place on this very day
Darkness has lost, long live India
Thank you. Jai Hind.
