Bengaluru Opposition Meeting: Before the elections of 2024, all the political parties have geared up and are busy in implementing their respective strategies. Significantly, the meeting of opposition unity has started in Bengaluru on Monday. Today is the second phase of this meeting, in which leaders of all parties will join. It is being said that some important decision can be taken in this meeting. Please inform that this 2-day meeting is being held in Bengaluru under the leadership of Congress.

Preparation for show of strength by BJP and Congress!

With less than a year left for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the opposition parties are leaving no stone unturned to increase their political muscle to woo voters. While 26 opposition parties are in Bengaluru on Monday and Tuesday (July 17-18) to sort out their differences and come together to challenge the BJP in solidarity, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) A mega meeting has been announced in New Delhi. Around 30 parties are expected to confirm their support for the alliance.

What is the 2-day agenda of the opposition meeting?

  • Drafting of Common Minimum Program for 2024 Lok Sabha elections and formation of committee for alliance.
  • To resolve the differences between the two parties in view of the conferences, rallies of different parties.
  • The matter of seat sharing will be discussed on the basis of states.
  • EVMs will be discussed in the meeting and points will be made to give suggestions to the Election Commission.
  • Now the name of the alliance is PDA. What new name can be given to this alliance will also be discussed.
  • Fixing an office for this alliance will also be discussed in this meeting.
