Bengali poet angry at the makers of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, threatened to file a case, hence the ruckus

Comedian and host Kapil Sharma has come under attack from famous Bengali poet and lyricist Srijato. Srijato has threatened to file a case against the makers of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. The matter is related to Rabindranath Tagore’s composition ‘Ekla Cholo Re’. Srijato alleges that the makers allegedly insulted him/her. Know the whole matter: Actually, in the recent episode, Kriti Sanon, Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh had come to promote their film ‘Do Patti’. Krushna Abhishek performed a skit in the episode, which angered people from the Bengali community. he/she said that Krishna Abhishek made fun and insulted Rabindranath Tagore’s song ‘Ekla Chalo Re’.

Poet Srijato claimed in a post on social media that Krishna Abhishek crossed the limit by making fun of a lovely song. This cannot be accepted. In a statement given to ‘ETimes’ he/she demanded an apology from the makers. Also insisted that the disputed clip be re-edited within 7 days. If this is not done then legal action will be taken.

It is known that since Kajol is Bengali, the makers had prepared a skit related to Bengal. Krishna Abhishek did a skit on the song ‘Ekla Chalo Re’. Regarding this, Srijato said that it was not funny at all. It was not prepared suddenly, but was scripted. I won’t go into too much detail, but Krishna’s expressions and comments towards the song were vulgar and insulting.
