Trainee Engineer Eligibility: Qualification

To apply for these posts, candidates should have B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc 4-year engineering degree in Computer Science. Freshers candidates can also apply for the post of Trainee Engineer. Latest Govt Jobs 2024: Age Limit

• Age limit- The maximum age of the candidates to apply for the post of Trainee Engineer has been fixed at 28 years and for Project Engineer the upper age limit has been fixed at 32 years. The age of the candidates will be calculated as on June 1, 2024.
• Salary- Candidates selected for the post of Trainee Engineer will be given a salary of Rs 30,000 per month in the first year, Rs 35,000 in the second year and Rs 40,000 per month in the third year. Whereas the project engineer will be given a salary of Rs 40,000 per month in the first year, Rs 45,000 in the second year, Rs 50,000 in the third year and Rs 55,000 in the fourth year.
• Selection Process- Candidates will be selected through written examination and interview. In this, 85 percent marks will be for exam and 15 percent marks will be for interview.
• Application fee- While applying for the post of Trainee Engineer, Rs 177 will have to be paid as application fee. Whereas for Project Engineer, the examination fee has been fixed at Rs 400. Fee exemption has been given to SC, ST and PWBD candidates.

The appointment of Trainee Engineer will be for two years. Which can later be extended for one more year on the basis of performance. Whereas project engineers will be appointed for three years. Which can be extended further by one year. The final selection list in the names of candidates shortlisted through written examination and interview will be made available on BEL.
