Surya said, “If you can play like this, I think it shows good batting. If the wicket is difficult, I try to do that. I knew after the power play that it was going to be difficult to score boundaries on that ground with the wind and slow outfield. So after the power play, we had a plan in mind that we would just try to hit the gap and score fast runs.” Suryakumar Yadav said, “Yes, it was a bit difficult to bat on it but the situation was different that day. We had to bat till the end, keeping wickets in hand.”

Spin is my strong point…
Suryakumar is ready to face the spin challenge of Afghanistan and Bangladesh. he/she said, “This has always been my strong side. If the wicket is slow and the spinner is bowling or if the wicket is good, then this has always been my game. We clearly have plans against Afghanistan. We are fully focused and know our strong sides very well. We think about the opposition but at the same time at the end of the day you should know what your strong sides are and support them.”
