Army sources said that as per the announced deadline, India and China have completed this work in Depsang and Demchok areas of eastern Ladakh. It is expected that soon the armies of both the countries will start regular patrolling as before. Quoting sources in the media report, it is reported that on Thursday, on the occasion of Diwali, sweets were also exchanged with the soldiers of the Chinese side. Will go. Indian Army sources shared the information on Wednesday. On the other hand, Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong said that the two countries have reached a “point of common understanding”.

Flights between India and China will start again

Feihong said that we have reached a point of shared understanding. As neighbours, we will have some issues but after the meeting between President Xi Jinping and PM Narendra Modi (on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Russia last week), the countries are looking to strengthen ties. We will soon resume direct flights between India and China.

Agreement announced on October 21

On 21 October, India announced that a patrolling agreement had been reached for both the disputed areas. After this, the troops will return to the situation that existed before the standoff between the two countries started in 2020. The disengagement process included demolishing the structures and restoring the land they were on to their original condition.
