Roman’s journey was from becoming a doctor to an IAS officer and then an entrepreneur. Roman, who was keen on studies since childhood, passed the entrance exam of AIIMS at the age of just 16. By the age of 21, he/she obtained MBBS degree. he/she started work as a doctor. But soon he/she felt that he/she had to do something bigger.

After this Roman decided to prepare for UPSC-CSE, one of the toughest exams in India. At the age of 22, Roman passed UPSC-CSE and became an IAS officer. he/she started working as a District Collector in Madhya Pradesh. The job of an IAS officer is very prestigious.

Roman wanted to do something big and hence he/she also left the IAS job. Roman then started business and started Unacademy in 2015 along with Gaurav Munjal and Hemesh Singh. Unacademy belongs to Sorting Hat Technologies company.
