The title match will be played between Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes under the captaincy of David Warner. Hobart has entered the finals by topping the points table. It reached the finals by defeating Sydney Sixers in the qualifiers, while Sydney Thunder entered the title match by defeating Melbourne Stars by 4 wickets.
