Bangladeshi batsman left the field without getting out, West Indies got a big win


Antigua. The West Indies team, which was out of the race for the ICC World Test Championship, registered a resounding victory against Bangladesh. The Bangladesh team, which was beaten by South Africa at home, had to face defeat by 201 runs in the Test on the West Indies tour. To win the Antigua Test, the host team had set a lofty target of 334 runs for Bangladesh. The visiting team could score only 132 runs. The team was forced to leave the field before the last batsman was out.

West Indies has taken a 1-0 lead over Bangladesh in the two-Test series. Justin Greaves, returning to the team after 10 months, scored a brilliant century in the first innings. Thanks to unbeaten 115 runs, West Indies team declared their innings after scoring 450 runs for 9 wickets. On the third day, Bangladesh captain Mehdi Hasan Miraj declared the innings after scoring 269 runs for 9 wickets. After this, bowling brilliantly, the host team was bundled out for just 152 runs in the second innings.

However, while chasing the target of 334 runs, the Bangladesh team was cheated by the batsmen and the entire team could reach only 132 runs. West Indies bowlers Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales became a problem for the visiting team and almost ended the match by taking three wickets each. Shoriful Islam retired hurt and decided to leave the field before the end of the match.

Justin Greaves, who played a strong century in the first innings for West Indies, was chosen as the player of the match. The second match of the series between West Indies and Bangladesh will be played from 30 November.
