Bangladesh government should immediately stop atrocities on Hindus… RSS bluntly made this demand on Hindu leader Chinmay Das

New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has raised questions regarding the increasing atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. RSS has bluntly told the interim government of Bangladesh to stop atrocities on Hindus. The union also demanded that the Bangladesh government immediately release Hindu spiritual leader Chinmoy Krishna Das from jail. RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, in a statement, appealed to the Indian government to continue its efforts to stop atrocities on Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. Necessary steps should be taken as soon as possible to create global opinion in support of them.

RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale further said that the attacks by Islamic fundamentalists on Hindus, women and all other minorities in Bangladesh are worrying. The incidents of continuous killings, looting, arson and inhuman atrocities there are extremely worrying. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh condemns this. Hosabale said that the present Bangladesh government and other agencies have become mere mute spectators instead of stopping them.

Demand placed for the release of Chinmay Das

The RSS general secretary said that a new era of injustice and atrocities seems to be emerging against the Hindus of Bangladesh to suppress their democratically raised voice for self-defence. he/she said that it is injustice to the Bangladesh government to send to jail Chinmoy Krishna Das, a saint associated with ISKCON who is leading Hindus in such peaceful protests.

Atrocities on Hindus should stop in Bangladesh- RSS

Bangladesh Police on Monday arrested Chinmoy Krishna Das from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport while he/she was on his/her way to Chittagong. Hosabale said that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh appeals to the Bangladesh government to ensure that the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh stop immediately and Mr. Chinmoy Krishna Das is released from jail.

The RSS general secretary said that India, the global community and other institutions should stand with the victims of Bangladesh at this critical time. We should express our support towards them. he/she said that this is necessary for global peace and brotherhood.
