Balvatika Admission: Not nursery-KG, now Balvatika admission will be done in schools! See age limit, form details

These days the admission process for Kindergarten is going on in schools. This process will continue till April 2025. Teachers in private schools are being trained to explain the concept of kindergarten. Before Balvatika, it was known as Nursery, First KG and Second KG. But now it has been named Central Government Balvatika 1, 2 and 3. The admission process in private schools has started. At the same time, the admission process for Kendriya Vidyalaya for the session 2025-26 will be conducted from March to April.

Age limit for Kindergarten admission

For Kindergarten 1, the age of the child is 3 years but less than 4 years, for Kindergarten 2 the age is 4 years but less than 5 years, for Kindergarten 3 the age of the child is 5 years but less than 6 years. However, teachers and parents seem to be stuck in the dilemma of admission to class depending on the age of the children. Parents say that earlier one could get admission in Grade 1 at the age of 6 years. But the new policy has complicated things.

Kindergarten form 2025

Principal of APJ School, Neha Sharma said that admissions for Kindergarten have started in schools. To get admission in Kindergarten, parents can register their child by visiting the website of the concerned school. They can also fill the admission form by going to school. This admission process in private schools will be conducted till February.

A separate class has been prepared for Kindergarten in the school. Where children are taught with the help of toys. Also, teachers organize separate activities for the emotional, social and physical development of children. Kindergarten education is considered important so that they can develop better by the time they reach Grade 1.

Admission process started under RTE

The admission process under RTE has started in private schools of UP. Parents can submit the form on the portal for admission in pre-primary. After the completion of the first phase process, the second phase process is going on. The last date has been set for January 19. Lottery will be drawn on 24th January. Admission under RTE will continue till March 19.
