Baloch ready to face Pakistani Punjabi army: Hyrbyair Marri

Baloch leader and head of the Free Balochistan Movement (FBM), Harbyar Marri, said on social media platform X that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has historically carried out military operations against the Baloch people.

he/she referred to campaigns carried out in the 1970s and the “kill and dump” policy of 2009 under the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) rule.

“The #PPP conducted military operations against the #Baloch people in the 1970s and introduced the #hitandthrow policy in 2009. And every time they come to government they apologize to the Baloch people but they continue to conduct #military operations against the Baloch,” Marri posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Marri stressed that despite repeated apologies, the PPP continues to carry out military terror and operations against the Baloch whenever it is in power.

In a subsequent post on social media, Murri mentioned the presence of former President Asif Ali Zardari in Balochistan and expressed concern over possible military action in the future. he/she wrote, “Now #AsifZardari is in #Balochistan and talking about the security situation. I expect another intense military operation against Balochistan. But the Baloch people are ready to face the #Pakistani #Punjabi army.”

In a press statement, FBM elaborated, “It should be noted that apart from the military terrorism in Punjab, Pakistan has ceased to exist in Balochistan in political, economic and social terms.”

The statement further said, “The Balochistan freedom movement continues successfully. Despite the state’s strong threats, the Punjabi army cannot crush the Baloch movement as it has massive public support.”

This ongoing conflict underscores the persistent tensions and struggle for independence in Balochistan, which will have significant implications for the stability and future of the region.
