“Baloch Freedom Fighters are getting stronger,” says Baloch Human Rights Council as Pakistan Train Standoffs.


Baloch Human Rights Council Information Secretary Khurshid Ahmed said on Thursday that the Jaffer Express kidnapping was shown that Baloch freedom fighters were getting stronger.

The situation in Balochistan demands that India and Western powers should support Baloch’s national struggle, ”he/she said.

Earlier, ISPR Pakistan DG Lieutenant General Sharif Chaudhary has said that the Jafar Express clearance operation launched after the train kidnaps in Balochistan was completed. he/she said that all the rebels, 33, were killed at the site of the attack.

“On March 11 in Bollan, the terrorists targeted a rail track around 1 pm and blown it and stopped the Jaffer Express. According to railway officials, there were 440 passengers in the train, ”he/she said while speaking in an interview on Dunya News.

The hostage situation began on Tuesday from near the Mashef Tunnel, about 157 km from Quetta, when the BLA rebels attacked the Jafar Express and took over 400 passengers, including several security personnel, hostage.

There was no confirmation of the total number of casualties, but the authorities told Don News that at least 30 people, including the driver of the locomotive and eight security personnel, had lost their lives in the form of forces engaged in the gun fight.

Meanwhile, Baloch National Movement (BNM) President Nasim Baloch criticized the US embassy in Islamabad, which he/she described as his/her failure to accept severe human rights violations in Balochistan, Balochistan Post reported.

The sketching comment of the BNM president came after a social media statement that the US embassy in Islamabad posted on its X account, condemning the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) of the Quetta-Bound Jaffer Express train.
