Baloch community demands release of missing people before Eid-ul-Azha

The Baloch community has demanded the release of missing persons ahead of Eid al-Adha, as their absence is disrupting holiday preparations.

The community is united in demanding justice and the immediate return of their loved ones, led by passionate activists highlighting their plight.

Hashtags like ‘Demand release this Eid’ and ‘Release all missing persons’ are gaining popularity on social media.

Baloch Voice for Justice expressed the anguish of the families affected by the disappearances on Christmas.

Speaking to X, Baloch Voice for Justice said, “No Eid for families of missing persons”.

Baloch Voice for Justice also drew attention to Kabir Baloch, who has been reportedly missing for the last 15 years.

BVJ said, “For the past fifteen years Eid has passed without Kabir, will this Eid also pass without Kabir with tears and sobs?”

Zara Baloch, another Baloch activist, wrote, “Enforced disappearances are the story of every other household in Balochistan, a bitter reality of the ongoing human rights crisis. To end these stories, it is important that resistance continues to confront systems of oppression.”

In solidarity with these efforts, many other activists and human rights defenders have joined in, calling for accountability and change.

Journalist Mehwish Kamas Khan highlighted the gravity of the situation and urged people to raise their voices and take action.

Despite the challenges and risks, the Balochistan community remains resolute in its quest for justice and the safe return of their missing loved ones.

Their resilience in the face of adversity is a poignant reminder of the enduring strength and determination of the Baloch people.
