Baloch citizens disappear by Pak forces

The Human Rights Department of Baloch National Movement Pank has strongly condemned the ongoing disappearance of Baloch citizens committed by Pakistani security forces.

The organization has raised an alarm on a disturbed increase in the kidnapping, stating that the violation continues uncontrolled and without any legal justification.

In a post on X, Panak said, “On March 5, 2025, photographer Khalil Khalid S/O Khalid, a resident of the ball Nigwar Dash, was abducted from Baloch Para in Gwadar. The night of March 6, 2025, Abdul Qadir’s son Dawood Baluch was taken from a mosque in Srikuran area of Panjgur during a prayer. On March 10, 2025, four more cases were reported: Ishaq Baluch’s son Noor Jan, was kidnapped from the Ronjan area of Tehsil Mashkai, Ereran. Somar’s son Leviz Sapai Abid Baloch was taken from his/her home from his/her home in Pasni’s Babbar Shur area. Taimur Baloch, S/O Karim Baksh, had forcibly disappeared from their home in Pasni. ,

Pank further said that these incidents are part of the widespread pattern of state repression against the Baloch population. Pank has criticized the Pakistani government that it calls a “systematic campaign of kidnappings”, aimed at intimidating and silenceing the Baloch community.

Organizations emphasize that these applicables violate the fundamental human rights and international laws, especially against arbitrary detention and prohibition against the right to fair testing.

The Department of Rights has called for immediate intervention from the international community, urging human rights organizations to make Pakistan accountable for these serious violations. Panak’s statement emphasized that global powers and silence of institutions have allowed these abuses to continue, uncontrolled and unwanted.

Pank insisted, “We urge immediate intervention to ensure justice and a safe return to disappear.”

In Pakistan, especially the disappearance of Baloch persons in Balochistan is an important issue. The Baloch community continues to tolerate harassment in the hands of the state security forces, causing widespread fear and deep concern about people’s safety and human rights in the region.
