With this, this film of Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri and Amy Virk has completed its first week’s journey. Looking at the condition of films in theaters for some time, the 7-day journey of ‘Bad News’ can be considered good. The film has done a business of more than Rs 40 crore. But with this the real challenge is starting from Friday, when ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ will be released. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’ is now leaving almost no impact. This film will end after this weekend. ‘Bad News’, directed by Anand Tiwari, has been successful in making the audience laugh even on the last day of the week, Thursday. ‘Bad News’ has a big challenge from Friday. Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ has been released on 26th July. This Hollywood film has done advance booking of Rs. 12.06 crores for the opening day in the country before its release. This tells the extent of craze among the audience for this film of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The worry of ‘Bad News’ is that this film is doing the most from Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and such big cities. Whereas ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, which was released on around 3000 screens, is also doing the most in these big cities.

Worldwide collection of ‘Bad News’ crosses 76 crores

The budget of ‘Bad News’ is Rs 75-80 crores. In such a situation, to become a hit, the film will have to maintain a strong hold on earnings in the second week as well. In seven days, the film’s worldwide gross collection has also reached Rs 76 crores. Out of this, Rs 25 crores have been grossed in foreign countries. Overall, this film will definitely gain momentum in its second weekend. But it is important that it continues to earn more than a crore on working days from Monday.

‘Sarfira’ is all packed, earned 22 crores in two weeks

On the other hand, it’s time for Akshay Kumar’s another disaster film ‘Sarfira’ to pack up. Directed by Sudha Kongara, this film earned only 35 lakhs on Thursday after Wednesday. The total collection of the film in 14 days is only 22.55 crores in the country. Whereas worldwide it has grossed around 31.50 crores in two weeks.
