Bad news before India-Pakistan match… Rohit Sharma injured after a ball hit his/her shoulder

New Delhi. Even though Team India started with a win in their first match of T20 World Cup 2024 against Ireland, but along with this, a bad news also came for the fans on Wednesday. Captain Rohit Sharma, who scored a half-century in the match, suffered a shoulder injury. After which he/she did not even complete his/her innings and left the field in the middle of batting and returned to the dugout. Hitman was seen on the TV screen going back with Team India’s physio. This is being seen as a big setback for Team India before the T20 World Cup match against Pakistan.

Hitman himself gave information about how serious Rohit Sharma’s injury is during the presentation ceremony. When asked about this, he/she said that it is just a small pain. he/she looked quite cool during the presentation, seeing which it can be understood that his/her injury is not very serious. It was seen in the TV replay that Hitman missed the attempt to hit a pull shot, after which the ball hit his/her shoulder. Looking at the upcoming India-Pakistan match, Rohit Sharma’s presence is very important for the team.

Hitman’s fiery batting
Rohit Sharma came to the field with Virat Kohli while chasing the target of 97 runs. Virat was caught out on a score of just one run. After this, Rohit Sharma took the responsibility of scoring runs with Rishabh Pant. Both of them together added 54 runs. Rohit hit sixes by playing two back to back pull shots and later he/she got injured while trying to play another pull shot. Before getting out, a half-century had already come out of his/her bat. he/she scored 52 runs in 37 balls with the help of four fours and three sixes. During this, his/her strike rate was more than 140.
